John Hancock Real Estate Finance, Inc. (JHREF) is a full service mortgage banking firm, whose primary business is to originate, underwrite and service commercial mortgages. In May 1997, JHREF expanded its business by developing a securitized lending program. Today, JHREF originates loans for both John Hancock's portfolio and its securitized lending program. In addition to the Boston based operation, JHREF has six field offices located around the country.
