
Bill McPadden oversees Commercial Mortgage Loan Production, Closing, Credit and Post-Closing Services within the Real Estate Finance Group. His team of investment professionals originate, underwrite, approve, close and service commercial mortgage loans across a variety of property types on behalf of the company’s General Account and Securitized Lending Programs.
Mr. McPadden joined John Hancock in 1992 as a Portfolio Manager of Equity Real Estate Investments. During 1994 he moved to the Debt Production area, and in 1996 was assigned to a group that created the company's conduit program. Mr. McPadden worked with the conduit group as a lead producer through 1998. During 1999 the Real Estate Finance Group merged its Securitized and General Account lending programs, and Mr. McPadden was assigned to the West Coast Mortgage Loan Production Team. In August of 2001, Mr. McPadden was promoted to Team Leader of the Western Origination Team. Effective July 2005, he was appointed to his current position as Vice President of the Real Estate Finance Group.
Before joining John Hancock, Mr. McPadden worked with Berkshire Realty Company, (f/k/a The Krupp Companies) and Arthur Andersen & Co. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, Commercial Mortgage Bankers Association, American Institute of CPA’s, and the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. |
