
Prior to joining John Hancock in 1995, Ms. Lacasse held several positions in the area of mutli-family and affordable housing finance including serving as Acquisitions Vice President at Boston Capital Partners and Development Officer with the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency, where she financed affordable rental and homeownership developments.
Ms. Lacasse is a member of several industry trade organizations. She is past President of the Affordable Housing Investors Council (AHIC). She serves on the Board of the Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership, Inc (MBHP), the Investment Committee of the Massachusetts Life Insurance Community Investment Initiative, the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition (AHTCC), and the Editorial Advisory Boards of the publications “Affordable Housing Finance” and “Housing and Development Reporter.”
Ms. Lacasse is a founding Board Member and Treasurer of Thrive, a Boston-based non-profit organization providing support, education and services to young women with breast cancer. She received her B.A. from Middlebury College and her Master’s of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
